These Terms of Service ("Terms") are an agreement between you and Finralis ("we", "us") covering your use of www.finralis.com and its related services (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service.

1. Using Finralis

You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. If you're 13 to 17, you need a parent or guardian's permission. If we learn an account belongs to someone under 13, we'll delete it.

Keep your sign-in details private and your email address current. You're responsible for activity under your account. Tell us at Info@Finralis.com if you think someone else has access to it.

2. Not financial advice

Finralis is a tool for tracking and understanding your own finances. It does not provide financial, investment, tax, or legal advice, and we are not a bank, broker, or financial adviser. Budgets, analytics, projections, and planning tools are general calculations based on the information you enter; projections are estimates, not guarantees. Our calculations are only as accurate as that information, and data imported from your bank may be delayed or incomplete, so rely on your bank's official statements for actual balances. You're responsible for the financial decisions you make. Finralis never moves money on your behalf.

3. Your data

Your data belongs to you. We use it only to provide and improve the Service, as described in our Privacy Policy, and we never sell it. You can export your data or permanently delete your account at any time from your Profile.

4. Third-party services

Some features rely on outside providers, such as hosting and email. Optional bank and investment syncing is provided through Plaid, and Plaid's own terms and privacy policy apply when you connect an account. We aren't responsible for third-party services.

5. Plans and pricing

The Free plan is free. We may change free features over time. Paid plans, if offered, will have their own price and terms, shown to you before you buy.

6. Acceptable use

Don't misuse the Service. That includes using it for anything unlawful, trying to access other people's accounts or data, interfering with or overloading the Service, or using bots to scrape or abuse it. Found a security issue? Please report it to Info@Finralis.com.

7. Ending your use

You can delete your account at any time. We may suspend or close accounts that break these Terms or put the Service or other users at risk.

8. No warranties; limit of liability

We work to keep Finralis available, accurate, and secure, but the Service is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind, and may change or be unavailable at times. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses, including lost data or financial losses from decisions made using the Service, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the greater of what you paid us in the past 12 months or $50. Some laws don't allow these limits, so they may not all apply to you.

9. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. If you have a concern, please contact us first; most issues can be resolved informally. Any dispute that can't be will be handled in the courts located in Massachusetts, except where your local consumer laws give you other rights.

10. General

We may update these Terms. For significant changes, we'll let you know by email or in the app before they take effect. Continuing to use the Service after that means you accept the update. If any part of these Terms can't be enforced, the rest still applies. The Finralis name, logo, and software belong to us. We may transfer these Terms to a future operator of the Service (for example, a company formed to run Finralis), and will let you know if we do.
